These adult children carry the unexpressed grief and guilt of their parents, which results in repressed feelings that manifest as dysfunctional patterns of behavior. This article shows how GIM is able to help both a child of a Holocaust survivor and a child of a German soldier to not only confront their shadows, process their grief, and release much of their guilt, but to rise above cultural enmity and come together in an experience of unity consciousness.
