Based on his critically acclaimed book, Sacred Knowledge, Dr. Richards will explore the current science and art of using music as a dynamic presence during psychedelic psychotherapy sessions.

 

Dorothea Dülberg, M.A.

Helen Bonny and the Beginnings of Guided Imagery and Music

Dorothea will share her extensive research about the development of Helen Bonny’s personal and professional evolution culminating in the development of GIM.

 

Ethics Panel Topic: 

The Ethics of Virtual GIM sessions with Clients

The panelists are Bryan Muller, Stephanie Bolton and Erin Montgomery. They will share their findings and concerns regarding working with GIM clients online. Q&A will be part of the presentation.

Our elders share their stories from the early days of GIM with Helen as researcher, teacher, therapist, and musician who opened for each of us how to "Listen with a New Consciousness.". Presenters: Carol Bush LCSW, Marilyn Clark LCPC, Sierra Stearns, Ph.D, MT-BC, Madeline Ventre LCAT, MT-BC.

 

Erich Bonny “Helen’s Creative Catalysts”

This presentation will focus on the creative catalysts in Helen's life that were instrumental in the evolution of her personal and professional work. Helen’s son, Erich, will share personal observations along with written and video/photo resources to demonstrate Helen’s creative life path.
