Petra is a registered music therapist and MARI practitioner and has recently completed her doctoral studies which focused on clients' lived experiences of Music and Imagery sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also holds a Master's degree in Positive Psychology. She is currently the first MI therapist, trained under Dr. Lisa Summer in the Continuum Model in South Africa. She works mostly with clients recovering from substance abuse and general mental health well-being. She has a particular interest in the impact of GIM on this client population.
