Description:

The Institute for Music and Consciousness offers trainings in the Continuum Model of GIM.   The training is organized developmentally according to the supportive, re-educative, and reconstructive continuum of psychotherapy; and simpler Music & Imagery methods are pedagogical preparation for GIM at Level III.  Each of the levels is a stand alone training in a method adapted from GIM, and each includes a practicum.  Seminars and trainings are offered internationally and ongoing training in the Continuum Model takes place in South Korea at the Ewha Woman’s University Wellness Center (EMUWEL) and in China at the Beijing Music Wellness Center.  Seminars and trainings include:

--- Music & Imagery for Wellness: Training in Resource-oriented MI (Introductory level)

--- Music & Imagery as Psychotherapy: Training in Issue-oriented MI (Professonal level)

---Guided Imagery and Music: Music-centered Training in GIM (Professional level)

-- Music as a Health Resource Seminars

-- Group Music & Imagery Seminars
