Helen gained her MA in Music Therapy from Roehampton University in 2007. She has extensive experience within mental health, PMLD, ASD, sensory processing, terminal illness, dementia, and the link between emotional and physical pain and is a registered Supervisor with The British Association for Music Therapy. From 2009 - 2019, Helen co-facilitated a Music as Communication project supporting staff working with children with PMLD in Minsk (Belarus). Helen is a qualified GIM and MI therapist and a Fellow of The Association for Music & Imagery. She is a Director at Whole Step CIC and has a private practice, using Guided Imagery & Music and The Continuum Model of Music & Imagery in the fields of personal development, mental health, trauma/complex trauma, and group work. Helen regularly presents her work at both Music Therapy and Guided Imagery & Music conferences.
