I am the course leader of the MA Music Therapy course at the University of South Wales in Newport, United Kingdom. As well as having a clinical practice in interactive music therapy, I have a GIM practice in the S Wales area, working with individuals and groups. I offer a psychodynamically orientated perspective of practice. I am also a clinical supervisor for counselling and arts therapies practitioners using GIM methods as a way of developing reflective practice. I also use MI methods with the families of premature babies to support their ability to bond with their babies.
